Gabrielle Aplin est une nouvelle venue dans le monde de la chanson. Sa voix est pleine d’esprit et elle est capable de décocher des mélodies imparables.
A quatorze ans, elle a composé un premier morceau, “Ghosts”, qui est devenu, trois ans plus tard, la chanson-titre de son premier EP.
A peu près au même âge, elle a monté son propre label, Never Fade Records, puis, après avoir trouvé un tourneur, elle a commencé à se produire au Royaume-Uni.
A dix-huit ans, elle avait déjà publié deux autres EP et dirigeait sa propre agence d’artistes, avec en tête, l’idée d’en réinvestir les bénéfices dans la carrière d‟autres talents rencontrés en chemin.
A dix-neuf ans, forte de ces connaissances, Gabrielle Aplin a décidé de passer à la vitesse supérieure. Courtisée par tous les labels, elle a fini par accepter la proposition de Parlophone.
Son 1er Album « The power of love » sortira le 13 mai, on vous laisse donc patienter avec une superbe session acoustique de son titre « Please don’t say you love me » sur les toits de paris.
